VALRHONA Foundation for Taste

 

In the light of increasing uniformisation of flavours and culinary standards, VALRHONA has decided to take action to study, promote and valorise taste in our society.

Mastery of a network consecrated to cocoa, protection of biodiversity, transparency for product development and new gustative sensation innovation are an essential part of this commitment and epitomized in the Enterprise foundation, the “VALRHONA Foundation for Taste”.

The stakes are high: from the disappearance of traditional local products to the issues posed by controlled origin appellations (AOC), many people are anxious about losing on quality, diversity and choice of products.

Acclaimed specialists from the field, such as Danielle Monteaux, Laurent Aron, Hervé This, have decided to participate in this adventure and offer their knowledge and competence to the Foundation whose main objective will be to reinstate “Taste” as a factor of sensorial discovery, social insertion, cultural enrichment or awareness of diversity.

A worthy combat which the ”VALRHONA Foundation for Taste” will endeavour to pursue as far as it is possible.
