The Mozilla Foundation launched a beta version of its fifth edition of the Firefox Web browser Monday -- just eight weeks after it rolled out Firefox 4. This includes a mobile version for Android as well as versions for Windows, Mac and Linux desktops. Nook Lust Drives Liberty Media to Court Barnes & Noble

John Malone's Liberty Media offered $17 per share for a 70 percent stake in the company, making the potential deal worth over $1 billion. Barnes & Noble is using its Nook, an e-book reader, to break into the digital book world. Amazon's Kindle is the leader in e-books and readers, but the Nook is competitive.

Facebook Wants to Hook 'Em Young

Here Comes Google to Save the Sale

French Hacker Played Guessing Game to Access Twitter Accounts

After months of investigation by police and the FBI, a French hacker accused of breaking into the Twitter accounts of President Barack Obama and singer Britney Spears was arrested earlier this week.
