Installing firefox on a new Archos 101 internet tablet
I just bought this new Archos 101 internet tablet. I would like to install firefox on it so that it will assist me in reading some of the pdf.files i receive.according to your site, my unit is supported. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

You should be able to launch the Android Market app from your tablet, then search for 'Firefox' and click the Install button to start the download.
I have tried and tried. Found the Android market app and have tried to install many times. The popup. Window says I do not have any "Android phones" connected with my account. The only thing I have is the Android Tablet. I am begining to think buying the tablet was a mistake. Please help if you can. Thanks.

Thank you, I will give it a try once I get time at a terminal. I am a truck driver and want to be able to use my tablet for work too. Firefox will help me to be able to read and see load info and paystubs. Thank you I will try it when I can stop.
Hmm Android 2.2, Cortex A8 at 1 GHz cpu, but it only has 256MB of RAM I believe when 512MB is the min recommended.

deux bémols : la sensibilité de la surface... je vais voir pour régler ça.
l'apparente fragilité (ça craque un peu entre les doigts). J'ai préféré acheter rapidement un étui en cuir pour le protéger.
En tout cas, à avoir si on veut surffer tranquillement dans son salon, lire le journal de tous pays, les ebooks, docs pdf ou autre, écouter de la musique, la radio de Memphis, l'enregistrer... et envoyer tout ça sur grand écran! vraiment bien!
Fluide, simple, complet, rapide, évolutif, léger et français!!!
